SOLAR LAMP, FOOD KITS, BLANKETS DISTRIBUTION
The Rotary club of Silchar had jointly distributed Solar lamp at Badambasti, Chiripul and other different interior area of Chandranathpur. Approximately 450 solar lamps were distributed. The Rotary Club, Silchar has also distributed 1000 food kits at 18 coaching centers of the society and fifty blanket among the villagers of Baulabasti.

CLOTH DISTRIBUTION
New Shirts, and pants for the students, Sharees for the ladies were distributed to all the students and their family members of all the Centres throughout the month.

FOUNDATION DAY & SWAMI VIVEKANANDA BIRTHDAY CELEBRQATION on 23.01.2022
Celebration of the Birth day Swami Vivekananda and Foundation day of the society. The day was observed in all the centres by the students and teachers. Rally, art competitions, etc. were organized.

Bhasha Shahid Dibas, to commemorate the sacrifices of eleven lives in Barak Valley was observed with due honor at all centers. Candles were lightened, and flowers were offered in the Martyr’s alter.

5TH JUNE 2022 WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY
World Environment Day is celebrated in all the centers of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Society, Silchar. Plantation, awareness programs were taken.

INDEPENDANCE DAY CELEBRATION
The 76th Independence Day is observed in all the Centre. Students and teachers in the Centre respectfully observed Independence Day. The national flag was flown. Sports and cultural events were conducted at the Langlachhara Centre for students and villagers. In the programme, members of the Trinanyani Sangskritik O Samajik Sanstha, Silchar, and the Sarada Sangha (Mayer Bari) were present and gave prizes to the students and the locals. The 400 villagers and pupils were given lunch (prepared meal).

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION on 15th day of August 2022
Independence Day is celebrated in all the centers. A rally was organized at each Centre followed by flag hoisting. Sports, cutural activities etc. were done in all the centers.

TEACHERS DAY celebration on 5th day of September 2022
Teacher’s Day was observed in all the centers of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Society, Silchar. A glimpse into the life history of Sarbapally Radhakrishnan was placed before the students, and teachers were wished.

CLOTH DISTRIBUTION on 20.09.2022
New clothes were distributed at Langlacherra, Chiripool, Boulabasti, Konatilla, and Bharakhai Centre on 20.09.2022 and onwards on the occasion of Durga Puja to the pupils of the centres around 400 and sharees and dhutis to 900 villagers. The Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram, Silchar, donated new sharees and dhutis.

CHILDREN DAY on 14th day of November 2022
Children's Day was observed in all the centers of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Society, Silchar. The significance of the day and the short life of Pandit Neheru were discussed followed by cultural activities.

EYE CAMP at Bharakhai on 18.11.2022
One eye camp was organized at Sri Maa Sarada Coaching Centre, Bharakhai in association with Lions Club of Silchar Central where total 75 patient attended the camp out of which 8no’s of patient were selected cataract for operation and 36 power glass were distributed free of cost to the patient.

FOUNDATION STONE laid by SWAMI GANADHISHANANADAJI MAHARAJ on 01.12.2022
Foundation was laid for the new building of Sri Maa Sarada Coaching Centre, Boulabasti Unit by Swami Ganadhishanandaji Maharaj, Secretary Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram, Silchar.

A Yoga camp was held in the premises of Sri Maa Sarada Coaching Center, Baulabasti unit, with the help of “Niramoy”.

INSTALLATION OF SUBMERSIBLE PUMP at KARVY PUNJI, RUPACHERRA on 26.12.2022
Installation of a submersible pump and drinking water reservoir. At Karvy Punji, Rupachhara, there was no source of drinking water. The women used to carry water 350 feet below the surface. With the assistance of the Rotary Club of Silchar Central and Marwari Yoba Mancha Silchar Titan, the society created a water project. A 2000-liter water tank and a submersible motor were installed. A long pending issue since independence was solved permanently.

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION & SARASWATI PUJA 26.01.2023
On 26.01.2023 Celebration of Republic day and Saraswati Puja. Students and teachers respectfully observed Republic Day in all of the centers. Following the singing of the national anthem by the teachers, students, and village residents present at the ceremony, the national flag was raised. Every centre observed Saraswati Puja according to tradition. Saraswati Puja was celebrated in a devotional manner. Students and villagers were given Khichuri Prasad as part of the celebration.

MEDICAL CAMP at CHALITAKANDI on 12.02.2023
Medical Camp at Chailtakandi. With the assistance of Sakkham, an NGO, and the National Ayush Mission of Assam, a free medical camp was organized at Chailtakandi. where fifteen patients who had been experiencing mental distortion and Cerebral Palsy were identified. Following that, some protein-rich food was distributed among the kids. The name of the physically challenged patient has been registered in the portal to get benefits from the Government.

DENTAL CAMP at LUNGLACHERRA on 28.02.2023
A free Dental Checkup Camp was organized at Langlacherra unit with the help of Silchar Dental College.

DENTAL CAMP & AWARENESS CAMP FOR BLOOD DONATION at BOULABASTI on 12.03.2023
An awareness camp for voluntary blood donation and free dental checkup camp was organized at Boulabasti. Resource person Sri Mohitosh Paul (Ashu) in his thoughtful deliberation explained value of voluntary Blood donation for both individual and larger community. After that a free dental health checkup camp with the help of Dr, Kalpojit Bhattacharjee on behalf of Silchar Dental College.

BLOOD DONATION CAMP at BOULABASTI on 19.03.2023
A voluntary blood donation camp for the first time organized at Boulabasti with the assistance of S M Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar. It was a rainy day with thunders storm and was very difficult for the villagers to participate the programme. Still out of 13 7 donor only 7 could donate blood, including one female donor.

FALICITATION OF STUDENTS on 28th May 2023
To commemorate the death anniversary of prominent journalist Pijush Kanti Das, Pijush Kanti Das Memorial Trust distributed 78 school bags to pupils of 18 different centers of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Society who secured position in the promotion test in their respective schools under the guidance of the society. This is a very pride moment to us.

MEGA HEALTH CAMP at CHANDRANATHPUR on 18th JUNE 2023
A mega health camp was organized with Dr. Amit Kalowar fan’s club. The villagers round around Chandranathpur Station including Atgram, Sonacherra, Bikrampur, Natunline, Itkhola, Jarailtola, Sonapur, Bhangarpar, Dhalcherra, Chalitacherra, Balirbond, Kalibari etc. took the benefit of the camp. There was strong and heavy rainfall throughout the day, still, more 850 patients participated in the camp. A total of 13 nos. of Doctors from different faculty including, General Medicine, Cardiac, Pulmonology, Derma, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, and Pediatric, attended the camp. Free checkups including medicine, BP tests, ECG, Hemoglobin, diabetes, Blood group tests, and Lung function tests were done.

PARTICIPATION IN CLUSTER MEET at CHANDRANATHPUR ME SCHOOL on 07.11.2023
7th November 2023:- A cluster meet of Chandranathpur ME School held on Chandranathpur ME where students performed different curricular activities where Ramakrishna Vivekananda Society with its 11 Centres organized a vision test camp in collaboration with The Lion’s Club of Silchar Central.

STUDENTS MEET at BOULABASTI on 3rd DECEMBER 2023
Student's meet at Boulabasti. Students from a private tutorial home under the leadership of Smt. Indrani Paul, a teacher donates a collective amount by cutting from their pocket money to the Ramakrishna Vivekananda Society. On 3rd December they visit the Boulabasti Centre of the Society for a friendly visit. They interacted with the students, took classes, played games, and had lots of fun there. A group of representatives from “Niramoy”, a Joga institute also participated in the meet and had a class on Joga for all the students.

MEGA HEALTH CAMP at BOULABASTI on 31st DECEMBER 2023
31st December 2023:- A mega health camp was organized at Boulabasti Centre. A total of 11 high profile doctors of different faculties participated in the camp including Dr Bablu Banik, Dr Ajit Bhattacharjee, Dr Kamalika Dey, Dr Joydip Roy, Dr Subhrajyoti Chakraborty, Dr Debeswari Roy Choudhury, Dr Sremoyee Sikder. Dr Pavel Shikder, Dr Ananya Dutta Roy, Dr Mahua Das, and Dr Dibyendu Suklabaidya. More than 550 patients were benefited from the camp. Like other Mega camps facilities free medicine, tests etc. were available in the camp.

OPENING OF NEW CENTRE AT PANICHERRA on 6th JANUARY 2024
6th January 2024:- A Centre under Ramakrishna Vivekananda Society, Silchar was opened at Panicherra nearly 3km inside Itkhola Centre, in the name and style “ Sreema Sarada Coaching Centre, Panicherra” with initially 28 students.

FOUNDATION DAY & DAY CELEBRATION OF SWAMI VIVEKANANDA
12th January 2024: The foundation of the society and the birthday of Swami Vivekananda were celebrated in all the centers of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Society. Rallies were organized in different centers. Offerings of flowers to the portrait of Swami Vivekananda followed by recitation of quotes from Swamiji were done by the students.

13TH FOUNDATION DAY CELEBRATION on 13.01.2024
13th January 2024: A centralized program was organized inviting all the Trustee members, Teachers, Patrons, and well-wishers. Patrons, Well-wishers, and other organizations were felicitated in the program. Renowned educationalist Smt. Sumitra Dutta was the chief guest of the program. The website of the society was designed by Smt. Madhumita Dutta, an exceptional digital creator designed the website.

OPENING OF NEW CENTRE AT BRENNAGAR on 16th JANUARY 2024
16th January 2024:- A Centre under Ramakrishna Vivekananda Society, Silchar was opened at Brennagar nearly 5km inside Lunglacherra Centre, in the name and style “ Sreema Sarada Coaching Centre, Brennagar” with initially 70 students.

RATION KITS DISTRIBUTION on 1st FEBRUARY 2024
The Rotary Club of Silchar Central distributed food kits under the Indian Food Bank Network to the villagers of Lunglacherra and Brennagar in association with Ramakrishna Vivekananda Society, Silchar. On behalf of the Club, President Debasish Chakraborty was present in the total program.

CELEBRATION
8th February 2024:- Our patrons Smt Moupi Deb Purkayastha and Sri Debatanu Biswas celebrated their son’s birthday with the students of Itkhola, Panicherra and Chalitacherra. Food packets and gifts were distributed among the students. The students enjoyed the program by performing recitations, songs, and traditional dance.

The worship of Goddess Saraswati was performed at different centers and Khichuri (Osmos) Prasad was distributed among the villagers.

HEALTH CAMP AI ITKHOLA on 24th MARCH 2024
Health Camp at Itkhola near Chandranathpur in collaboration with Covid Response Group, Silchar covering nearby villages namely Itkhola, Panicherra, Bagmara, Chalitakandi, Siding, etc. A total of 176 patients attended the camp. In addition to medical checkups, medicine, and blood sugar tests are also done free of cost. Renowned folk artist Bidhan Laskar attended the camp and participated in cultural events to entertain the patients. Prominent personality Mr. Surajit Shome, a whole timer to Blood Donors Forum addressed the locality and an awareness programme on blood donation took place at the same venue.

MEGA HEATH CAMP AT LUNGLACHERRA on 31st MARCH 2024
Mega health camp at Srima Sarada Coaching Centre, Lunglacherra run by Ramakrishna Vivekananda Society, Silchar. 15 Specialist doctors in Medicine, ENT, gynecology, Orthopedics, Skin, surgery, Pediatrics, etc. participated in the camp. In addition to free checkups, free medicines are also distributed. Apart from that pressure checking, Sugar tests, Thyroid tests, EGC, etc. are also done free of cost in collaboration with CRU.

An health camp organized at our Chiripool centre in collaboration with NRHM Silchar for the students and the villagers of that locality. Total 75 patients attended the camp. Night blindness, high blood pressure, refractive error patients etc. are the major problems.

An health camp organized at our Kalibari centre in collaboration with NRHM Silchar for the students and the villagers of that locality. Total 64 patients attended the camp. Night blindness, high blood pressure, refractive error patients etc are the major problems. Total 9 patients were referred to SMCH for further treatment.

HELTH CAMP at BREMNAGAR on 10th APRIL 2024
An health camp organized at our Bremnagar centre in collaboration with NRHM Silchar for the students and the villagers of that locality. Total 143 patients attended the camp. Night blindness, high blood pressure, refractive error patients etc are the major problems. Total 13 patients were referred to SMCH for further treatment.

HEALTH CAMP at ATGRAM on 13th APRIL 2024
An health camp organized at our Atgram centre in collaboration with NRHM Silchar for the students and the villagers of that locality. Total 30 patients attended the camp as day was marked as village festival, GANGA PUJA. Night blindness, high blood pressure, refractive error patients etc are the major problems.

An health camp organized at our Swami Vivekananda centre in collaboration with NRHM Silchar for the students and the villagers of that locality. Total 225 patients attended the camp. Night blindness, dental problem, high blood pressure, refractive error patients etc are the major problems. Total 19 patients were referred to SMCH for further treatment.

HEALTH CAMP at CHALITAKANDI on 28th APRIL 2024
An health camp organized at our Calitakandi centre in collaboration with NRHM Silchar for the students and the villagers of that locality. Total 190 patients attended the camp. Night blindness, high blood pressure, refractive error patients etc are the major problems. Total 14 patients were referred to SMCH for further treatment.

EYE CAMP at LUNGLACHERRA on 12th MAY 2024
A very effective eye camp organized in collaboration with Lions Club of Silchar Central at our Lunglacherra Centre on 12th May 2024 where total 55 patients attended the camp out of which 18 patients were brought to hospital for operation, 18 patients were referred for further investigation and 19 spectacles were distributed among the rest 18 patient.

SUMMER CAMP on 11 June 2022
A Summer Camp was organized at Sri Maa Sarada Coaching Centre, Langlacherra unit, at Langlacherra, a tea garden under Kumber Tea Estate. Drawing, clay modeling, music, yoga, and free-hand exercises are practically taught by a group of Assam University and Tripura Fine Arts Department students. Despite the rain, a great number of pupils participated actively in the program.

RELIEF
On 2nd July 2024 a tragic incidence occurred at Chalitakandi where due to heavy shower a house callused adjacent to our center where 2 people died including one child of 6 months old. The society provided tin sheets, for construction of new house, Vaskar Das donated 25kg rice and Subhash Barman donated 14 kg rice. The Rotary Club of Silchar Central at our request donated 5 pkts of food kit to the victim family.

FOOD KITS DISTRIBUTION at BOULABASTI on 12th JULY 2024
Food kits were distributed among the 175 flood effected family at our Boulabasti Centre. The kits were arranged by the Rotary Club of Silchar Central. President Smt. Suramita Podder along with outgoing President Mr. Debasish Chakraborty, few interns of Barak Velley Engineering College were present in the occasion.

Sammilita Loko Mancha, Silchar, a prominent cultural group celebrated the day with the students and villagers of Lunglacherra Centre, and with different colorful events, the day was made a remarkable one.

SHAREE DISTRIBUTION at LUNGLACHERRA on 15.09.2024
Like other years Trinayani Samajik O Sanaskritk Sangstha, Silchar, a well known organization distributed sharees amongh the villagers of Lunglacherra. Allmost 60 families were benefited.

SHAREE DISTRIBUTION on 21.09.2024
Shree Shree Harisava Durga Puja Committee, Silchar like last year prior to Durga Puja has distributed Sharees among the villagers below poverty line. For this purpose they have selected Ramakrishna Vivekananda Society to arrange and identify the beneficiaries. Accordingly on 21st October 2024 Sharees were distributed among the guardians of students under Swami Vivekananda Centre, Chalitakandi and Boulabasti Centre. Total 125 numbers of sharees were distributed. The Trust on that particular day again distributed Sharees among the guardians of students under Bremnagar and Chiripool Center and also distributed cloths among the students of all the five centers at the same time.

CLOTH DISTRIBUTION on 29.09.2024
Bhubaneswari Devi Foundation, a trust since last three years working with us for the upliftment of peoples below poverty line of remotest area through out the year. On 29th September 2024 Bhubaneswari Foundation donated 100 sharees to the guardians covering 10 centers at Chandranathpur. This includes Dhalcherra, Chandranathpur ME, Chandranathpur Station, Atgram, Kalibari, Natunline, Sonacherra, Itkhola, Chalitacherra and Panicherra center. Mr. Abhijeet Chakraborty from Guwahati donated 50 shirts for the adults. Paramita Acherjee of Punjab National Bank, Tree House, Meherpur- an educational institute, Sumana Sen, Smriti Das, Kanailal Das, Sangita Deb, Janantika Bhattacharjee has joined with us for the firts time. With the help of them, patrons and trustee members the Trust has distributed cloths to the students of respective centers.

HUNGER RELIEF on 27.10.2024
An hunger relief organized by Lions Club of Silchar Lioness on 27.10.2024 among the the students of Boulabasti. The food kit includes nutritious diet.

Diabetic test and awareness camp
A diabetic awareness camp organized at Boulabasti Centre in collaboration with Lions Club of Silchar Lioness. Designated Doctors elaborately described the threat and cause of diabetes and advised the precautionary measure to be adopted. Approximately 100 villagers attended the camp. Random sugar test was done to all of them and the diabetic patients were identified. Apart from Doctors and paramedical stuff Indrani Bhattacharjee and Shampa Debroy Dhar attended on behalf of Lioness group. On behalf of Society Pradip Roy and Supradip Duttaroy attended the camp. The camp was a fruitful one.

Children's day.
Children's Day is celebrated in all the centers of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Society. A portrait of Pandit Jawaharlal Neheru is placed in a prominent place, garlanded and flowers offered. Significance of the day is discussed among the students followed by cultural activities. President, Secretary and few members of Sarada Sangha, Natunpatty (Mayer Bari) visited our Swami Vivekananda Centre and celebrated the day. The students were asked questions and they replied promptly. The Sangha distributed study materials and sweets among the students. Mr. Debasish Mukherjee, Director of Pranabananda Holy Child along with Shipra Purkayastha, eminent teacher; Sabyasachi Purkayastha, cultural activist: Partha Chakraborty,Social worker; Moushumi Chakraborty and Diya Mukherjee visited our Lunglacherra Centre, Brennagar Centre and Chiripool Centre. They interact with the students, villagers, enquired regarding our activities, style of teaching, economical condition and lifestyle of the villagers and at the end they appriciated the mission. The guests distributed study materials and cakes etc. among the students and assured to be with us in near future.

Village Meet
On 17th November 2024 a village meet organized at Brennagar Centre where students and their guardian gathered at the Centre with some distinguish guest from Silchar and enjoyed the day with fun and cultural activities. This type of activity is a unique one to the villagers and the villagers participated the programme spontaneously. Foods were cooked by the villagers voluntarily which includes Dal, mixed veg, egg curry and chicken curry. The total cost incurred was sponsored by Kanailal Das, a cultural activist to memorize his birth day.

Medical Camp at Itkhola, Chandranathpur
A medical Camp was organised jointly with Covid Response Group, Silchar in the premises of 1553 No. Itkhola Primary School, Itkhola of Chandranathpur where 163 patients were diagnosed by Dr. Subrata Kumar Nandy and Dr. Subrata Kumar Das. Free medicines were distributed to the patients according to the prescriptions made by the Doctors. Mrs. Bijoya Suklabaidya and her son Sandip Suklabaidya helped in handing over the medicines to the patients properly. Eye Camp at Boulabasti
An eye camp in collaboration with Lions Club of Silchar Valley organized at Boulabasti on 04.11.2024. Total number of 51 patient attended the camp out of which 10 patients were brought to Silchar for cataract operation and total 19 number of spectacles were free distributed among the patients. On behalf of Lions Club of Silchar Valley Sankar Bhattacharjee, Subhra Bhattacharjee, Sakhi Bhattacharjee and Sanjukta Dutta Roy attended the camp.

Cloth Distribution Camp at Itkhola, Chandranathpur
A cloth Distribution camp of old cloths and winter garments was organized on 15th day of December 2024 covering four villages namely Chalitacherra, Itkhola, Bagmara and Panighat. More than 200 persons including students of our coaching centers gathered and benefited. An awareness camp on sanitization was simultaneously organized at the same venue and good response was noticed.

Cloth Distribution Camp
A cloth distribution camp of old cloths and winter garments was organized at our Brennagar Centre on 20th day of December 2024. Clothes were distributed among the villagers.

Mega Health Camp
A mega health camp was organized at our Boulabasti Centre on 12th January 2025, the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and the foundation day of the trust itself. The camp was dedicated in the memory of our founder Vice President and the Chief advisory member of the existing committee Saradindu Dey commonly known as Manikda. The camp started at 10 am. Total 11 distinguished doctors from different faculty attended the camp and examined more than 350 patients. The Joint director of health services extended full cooperation by providing medicine and para medical staffs. Several pathological tests were done free of cost including free medicine. In addition to mega health camp, the foundation day of the society was also celebrated at the same place. Different dignitaries of Barak Valley and NGOs were present in the occasion. The patrons and collaborators associated with trust throughout the year was honored with a memento.

Opening of one more coaching centre at Bhuban Valley
On 16th January 2025 one more free coaching Centre at Bhuban Valley on the top of the Bhuban hills, half kilometer away from Bhuban Temple. The village is on the top of the hill, inhabitant by Reang community having approximately 50 families. There is electricity, no sanitation facility, no water facility and even there is no proper road to communicate. There is no LP school, no question of ME and others and the peoples are very much reluctant about education. Few families try to educate their children staying at Amraghat or any other convenient place and the number is negligible. We with our limited capacity started on free coaching center with approximately 40 children at a primary level to teach them alphabet, numbers etc.

Distribution of Food kits.
On 22nd January 2025, the trust distributed 32 nos. of food kits among the children at Chalitakandi and 20 nos. of food kits among the students at Chiripool in association with Rotary Club of Silchar Central.

Food kits distribution at Bhuban Vally
A camp was organized on 23rd January 2025 in association with Rotary Club of Silchar Central at a point in Bhuban Hills (Hanuman Mandir) to distribute food kits among the Reang Villagers and a total no of 52 kits were distributed. The Trust was represented by Jadab Saha, Pradip Roy and Nirmol Roy.

Netaji's birth day celebration
On 23rd January 2025, the birthday Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was celebrated in all the centers. One portrait of Netaji was placed in a prominent place, flowers were offered and the life history Subhash Chandra Bose was discussed among the students. The students also participated in the discussion. The celebration ends with patriotic songs.

Representation to Mr Koushik Rai, Honorable Minister
A representation was given to the minister demanding 1. A road connecting Mahasadak at Katlacherra point to Chandranathpur via Sabashpur, Itkhola Sonacherra. 2. Instalation of 12-0-12 electric pillers at Itkhola (Chandranathpur) for charging the transformer already installed. 3. One ME school at Lunglacherra and one LP school at Reang Bssti at Bhuban Valley.

Republic Day
Republic day is observed in all the centers. Flag waisted, followed by national anthem. The significance of the day is described and there after students participated in cultural and sport events.

Distribution of winter garments
Winter garments were distributed among the students of Chandranathpur ME centre. The garments were sponsored by Mr Biswajut Dasgupta. Total 55 students were benefited.

Distribution of Mosquito net water filter
Mosquito net and two nos. of water filter with bleaching powder and crushed anthill was distributed among the villagers Chalitacherra. Smt. Shampa Deb sponsored the program. Thanks to Shampa Deb and Aniruddha De.

Saraswati Puja
Almost all centers arranged Saraswati puja in Coaching center premises. After puja Khichuri prasad distributed among the students as well as their guardians.

Birthday Celebration
Like previous years this year also Moupi Deb Purkayastha and Debopam Biswas celebrated thier son's birthday at our Chalitakandi Centre. Moupi and Debopam since birth of their one and only son celebrating this day with the pupils of coaching centers. Each year they select a new center and thus rotate the vanue. The main motto is to pass this special day with these students and at the same time they try to fulfil the burning requirements of the respective center. This year they donated 3 chairs. Sweets and study materials are also distributed among the students.

Felicitation
Tree House at Shibalik park in their annual program felicitated our society with uttariyo, memento and lots of gifts. They appreciated our activities and assured to be with us in near future. One NIT scholar Mr. Ayush Deb spontaneously donated Rs. 5000/- from his scholarship and the society overwhelmed for his this type of gesture. We wish his bright future.

Distribution of food kits
The society arranged to distribute 50 nos. of food kits the families of slam area at Itkhola, Silchar in collaboration with Rotary Club of Silchar Central.

Birth day celebration of Kahan
Prominent poet Moupiya Choudhury and Suman De celebrated 2nd Birth anniversary of their only child Kahan at Sree Maa Sarada Coaching Centre Chiripool. Food kits were distributed. The pupils participated in cultural activities and enjoyed the day.

Workshop on arts at Boulabasti
An workshop on basic arts organised at our Boulabasti Centre in collaboration with Uttamasish Kala Cendra, Silchar. More than 60 students participated in the camp. Pradip Acherjee, Pinak Paul, Rajdeep Kangshabanik, Sonali Das, Payel Bhowmik, Pallabi Goala and Rinki Das were the instructors on behalf of Kala Cendra. Shyamali Dey and Supradip Duttaroy represented the society.

Rabindra Jayanti Celebration
The birthday of Rabindranath Tagore was celebrated at all the centers of the Ramakrishna Vivekananda Society. Songs, Recitations, and a brief life history were delivered to them.

Vasha Shahid Didas
Bhasha Shahid Dibas, to commemorate the sacrifices of eleven lives in Barak Valley was observed with due honor at all centers. Candles were lightened, and flowers were offered in the Martyr’s alter.

World Environment Day
World Environment Day is celebrated in all the centers of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Society, Silchar. Plantation, awareness programs were taken.

Flood Relief
A flood relief camp was organised at Boulabsti Centre in collerboration with 1979 PU Sc. Batch Alimony Association were 100 food kits were distributed among the flood victims of Holdikuri and Sawtaltilla. On behalf of the association Amalendu De, Sushanta Gupta, Sumit Buiya, Debasish Chakraborty, Prof Ajoy Roy, Pradip Patwa and Supradip Duttaroy.
